The Prep

Hey everyone!

I wasn't so sure if I was going to be able to write a blog this trip.  Camping + laptop is not a great combination, plus I don't think I'm going to have reliable internet access.  But, I had several people ask me if I was going to do one, and, the truth is, I write these blogs more for myself than anything.  I love being able to look back and remember what I did on all my adventures.  So, since this is probably the biggest adventure I've ever undertaken, I thought I should go ahead and set up a blog for the sake of posterity.  I don't know how often I'll be able to update it, but I'll do my best!

Our life has been a big ball of crazy fun recently.  We got married a little over a month ago and we are prepping for a big move to Iowa City as well as a honeymoon.  Our apartment is pretty much in a shambles, all things considered.  We are definitely looking forward to getting a break from our responsibilities on our honeymoon before the craziness starts up again when I start my job at the Johnson County Public Health department in June.

We are leaving in just a few minutes, so I'm going to give you all a quick run down of the plan and leave it at that.
